Shannon Rodriguez
Director of Early Childhood Ministries

I have been teaching at Annunciation Preschool since April of 2000 and I have been the Director since August of 2003.   I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an Option in Computer Information Systems from California State University, Hayward.  In addition, I returned to school in 1999 to complete classes in Early Childhood Education.  I currently hold my Program Director permit issued by the state of California.  Furthermore, I am a mom of two remarkable young adults.

I have been blessed to have been a part of the Annunciation Preschool since it began in September of 1994. I have an A.A. from San Joaquin Delta College in Family and Consumer Sciences, with a concentration in Early Childhood Education.  In addition, I hold my Site Supervisor permit through the state of California.  I have two amazing adult children.

I attended Annunciation School and graduated in 1995. I have been a part of Annunciation Preschool since August of 1999.  I have an Associate of Arts degree from San Joaquin Delta College in Liberal Studies. I also hold an Assistant Teacher permit through the state of California.   I am married and have four incredible children.

Preschool and Pre-K Teacher

I came to Annunciation Preschool to volunteer and to collect data for one of my Early Childhood classes. The children and staff were inviting and fun! I began working for Annunciation Preschool in the Fall of 2017.  I have an Associate in Arts degree in Elementary Teacher Education for Transfer. I continue to take classes in Early Childhood Education in order to pursue my goals and passion to work with young children.

I started working at Annunciation Preschool in April 2021.  I am married and am the mother of twins, a boy and a girl. I am currenrtly finishing up my Early Childhood classes to earn my Associate of Arts degree from San Joaquin Delta College. I am excited to be here as part of the staff at Annunciation Preschool and Extended Care.

I started at Annunciation Preschool in 2023 and am finishing my degree in Early Childhood Education at San Joaquin Delta College.  I have a precious little boy who loves to come to school with me a couple days a week.  I love learning about Child Development and Early Childhood!  I get to see first hand how all these theories apply in the real world!
